Summer is almost here and everyone will be having BBQ's, so here is a different idea for a Classic Hamburger. Beets on a Burger with Lettuce. It's something different and fun and tastes so good. You have to give this a try. For the beets I cheated and used them from the jar, but you could roast your own beets if you like. For the lettuce you may use whatever lettuce that your family likes. Enjoy!

NOTE: If you want to add some cheese to your hamburger, you could crumble Roquefort cheese on top of the beets!

I did make a beet spice cake a few years ago when people were trying them. It was ok - but I probably wouldn't make another. Your idea is sure original.
